Chinese spying on Falun Gong--not only in Germany

London Free Press by Marie Beaulieu - Updated: After reading the headlines in the paper today saying that "German prosecutors indict alleged Chinese spy for observing Falun Gong movement", I couldn't help but think that someone should remind the feds again that it's time to clean up the mess in Canada. In 2005 Hao Fengjun, a former police officer and Chinese defector, tried to tell them so. Hao said that China has more than 1,000 spies operating in Canada. He also said that in addition to spying, China is conducting a campaign of intimidation and harassment against Falun Gong members, mainly in Toronto and Vancouver. This action is consistent with a CSIS report that foreign intelligence services manipulate, threaten and exploit expatriates living in Canada. Hao claims that he has given a Chinese intelligence report about a Falun Gong practitioner in Canada to the Australian authorities. That speaks volume but is there anybody listening?
